Australian Cricket fans little Worried after Long Break

The Australian Cricket fans might be a little worried about the long break that their team has had in the World Cup 2015.

The Aussies had played their first game on the opening day of the World Cup versus the arch rivals England, but, after that, they have not got a chance to step onto the field.

Their second game versus Bangladesh was scheduled on Saturday at Gabbatoire, but, because of heavy rain, it was abandoned and the points were distributed equally between the two teams.

Now, they have to face the Kiwis in the coming weekend. That’s probably the only World Cup match that they are going to play away from home.

There will be plenty of support for the Kangaroos there as well though as New Zealand is not far away from Australia and a lot of Aussies will be making their way across the border to watch the game.

Ben Hilfenhaus not performing well in T20 Cricket

Ben Hilfenhaus’ T20 career seems to be sinking down rapidly. He has been out of the Australian T20 side for a good while and now, his place in his club teams has also started to come under scrutiny.

Chennai Super Kings, the IPL franchise of Hilfenhaus, released him in November and then, last week, he was left out by his BBL franchise Hobart Hurricanes too after bowling a very expensive spell in the game against Adelaide Strikers.

Hilfenhaus has bowled well in the couple of Shield matches that he has played in this new season though, but, as far as the shortest form of the game is concerned, he has just not been able to deliver for his respective teams for the last two years.
